MEET RESULTS
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology won 11 events to pick up a men's swimming and diving victory at DePauw University on Saturday afternoon.
The Fightin' Engineers won the team scoring by a 158.5-101.5 count. Three Rose-Hulman swimmers led the team effort with two wins each.
Jared Brown swept the 50-freestyle (21.83) and 100-freestyle (48.53);
Evan Sellers won the distance double of the 500-freestyle (4:53.06) and 1650-freestyle (17:02.14); and
Ethan Park swept the 100 (1:01.92) and 200-breaststroke (2:15.46) events.
Logan McLaughlin tied a DePauw swimmer for an individual win in the 100-backstroke with a time of 55.06 seconds.
In the diving competition,
Colby Horne swept both the 5-dive and 6-dive top finishes in 1-meter diving. Horne won the 5-dive competition with 131.30 points and added a victory in the 6-dive competition with 144.60 points.
Rose-Hulman also swept both relay events. The 200-medley team of
Logan McLaughlin,
Derick Miller,
Jared Brown and
Dutch Kipp won in 1:37.39, while Kipp,
Brendan King,
Tyler Sommer and Brown won the 400-freestyle in 3:03.99.
Rose-Hulman is schedule to face national power Washington University (Mo.) at the Vigo County Aquatic Center on Saturday Feb. 13.
