TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer kept its perfect season going with a 3-0 win over Transylvania University on Saturday afternoon. Rose-Hulman moves to 4-0 and Transylvania fell to 3-1.
Before the contest, Rose-Hulman honored its eight seniors:
Sam Alvares,
Chris Fusaro,
Tyler Foster,
Brevin Lacy,
Ryan Tarr,
Wyatt McKibbon,
Eric Kirby, and
Travis Bednarek. These seniors have an outstanding 41-14-7 record thus far through their four years.
Sophomore
Takezo Kelly led the way for the Fightin' Engineers, finding the back of the net twice this afternoon. His two goals today bring him to five on the season through four matches and 12 for his career.
Jacob Dirienzo added the final goal for the second of his career.
AJ Yilmaz tallied two assists.
Goalkeeper
Evan Hofer led the Fightin' Engineers to their fourth-straight shutout victory. He's been in goal for seven of the eight halves for RHIT.
Men's soccer returns to action this Wednesday, March 17 at home vs Manchester University. Kickoff is slated for 7pm.
