TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology baseball team hosts Defiance in a doubleheader on Sunday starting at 3 pm.
Only limited and invited family members or specifically invited Rose-Hulman community members can attend home outdoor events in 2020-21. If you have not been directly contacted by a member of the team,Â
you will be refused entry into the game.  Guests must fill out the campus visitorÂ

SATURDAY RECAP
NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology baseball fell in a pair of one-run games against the Manchester Spartans, 2-1 and 5-4. RHIT fell to 4-5 and Manchester improved to 6-7.
Game one of the doubleheader went into extra innings, finishing after 12 innings of work in a mere two hours and 30 minutes. Pitching and defense proved to be the main factor in Game One of the doubleheader. For Rose-Hulman,
Matthew Rouse threw 8.1 innings for nine strikeouts and seven hits, giving up only one run.
Schuyler Wilcox came in for 3.0 innings of relief work, giving up only two hits and no earned runs.
At the plate,
Alex Gavrilovich went 3-4 and was the lone scorer for Rose-Hulman.
Shaine Mitchell,
Luke Kluemper, and
Harris Camp all added one hit each.
Manchester's Austin Kresl went a full game on the hill and then some, throwing 10.0 innings while allowing six hits, one run, and zero walks.
In game twoÂ
Manuel Lopez led the Rose-Hulman offensive attack, going 3-4 at the plate and scoring two runs.
Logan Cody,
Adam Taylor,
Colter Couillard-Rodak, and
Drew Roberts each added one hit.
The Fightin' Engineers are back in action tomorrow, March 28 verses Defiance College at home. First pitch of the doubleheader is set for 3pm, followed by game two.
