Men's Swim-Dive Tops Hanover; Travels to Transy on Saturday

FRIDAY HANOVER MEET RESULTS


HANOVER, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology relied on 13 event victories to top Hanover College 141-57 in men's swimming and diving action on Friday night at Southwestern High School.

Caleb Munger led the individual winners with three event victories.  Munger took home top honors in the 100-butterfly (56.03); the 100-backstroke (56.70); and the 200-individual medley (2:04.37).

Derick Miller and Ryan Nikolic added two individual event wins each.  Miller won the 50-backstroke (26.02) and the 100-breaststroke (1:01.51).  Nikolic captured the 50-freestyle (22.57) and the 50-butterfly (23.82).

Other individual winners included Ryan Bowering in the 100-freestyle (51.31); Will Kenyon in the 1000-freestyle (10:25.41); Vineet Ranade in the 200-freestyle (1:50.40); and Evan Sellers in the 500-freestyle (4:57.00).

The 200-medley relay team of Nikolic, Miller, Michael Nixon and Sam West added a victory in 1:39.72.  The 400-freestyle relay completed the meet with a win featuring Ranade, Nick Edwards, Alex Ketcham and Kenyon in 3:21.15.

Rose-Hulman completes a road weekend at Transylvania University on Saturday at 1 pm.
