KENOSHA, Wisconsin -- Despite a career day from Miles McGowen, the Fightin' Engineers fall to the Carthage Firebirds 75-68 on Tuesday night.

In the second half, the Fightin' Engineers were able to keep it close and cut the lead to three a couple of times, but Carthage pulled away and stretched the lead to 14 with just under four minutes to go. They would hold on for a 75-68 victory.

McGowen would lead Rose-Hulman with a career-day scoring 22 points and grabbing 15 rebounds, 7 of which were offensive. McGowen would also add a pair of assists.

Simon Blair and Max Chaplin were each in double figures with 13 and 11. Bradley Harden added 8 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals.
