HANOVER, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's track and field team relied on three first-place finishers to come home 4th at the Hanover Invitational on a cold and windy Saturday in Southern Indiana.
Colin Featherby won the triple jump with a mark of 40' 8 1/4".
Isaiah Lilje added another field event victory by winning the javelin (155' 1").
Trevor Maynard provided the day's running event win with a 3,000-steeplechase time of 10:42.42.
Runner-up finishers included
Carter Lindfelt in the 3,000-steeplechase (10:51.20) and
Parker Jordan in the triple jump (39' 10 1/2").
Third-places were earned by
Jacob Bird in the 200 (23.30);
Evan Brill in the 5000 (16:51.86); Featherby in the long jump (18' 6"); and
Will Thesken in the 800 (2:04.37).
Rose-Hulman returns to action at the Millikin Invitational next weekend.
