DANVILLE, Ky. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology relied on a strong defensive effort to remain within striking distance before falling 1-0 to No. 14 ranked Centre College in women's soccer action on Saturday.
Centre scored its only goal in the 64th minute and outshot Rose-Hulman 24-4 in the match.Â
Natalie Dillon led the strong Rose-Hulman defense with seven saves.
Kiley McKee recorded two shots to lead the Fightin' Engineer offense.Â
Jayden Gibson and
Alex Adams had one shot each.
Rose-Hulman returns to action with its home opener on Wednesday at 7 pm against Greenville College.
