FULL RESULTS
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's track and field team took home second place in their home and season opener against Washington University - St. Louis and Manchester. The Fightin' Engineers brought home four event wins on the day en route to their second place finish.
Jailen Hobbs led the way for the Fightin' Engineers with a pair of wins in the 60 Meter Dash and the 200 Meter Dash. Hobbs' 60 meter dash time ranks second in school history, and his 200 meter dash time ranks 4th in school history.
Jacob Eve also added a pair of second place finishes in the 400 Meter Dash and the 4x400 Meter Relay.
Aslan Henderson joined Eve on the second place finishing 4x400 Meter Relay team and also finished fourth in the 800 Meter Dash.
Kyle Brownell brough home a win in the High Jump with a 6' 7" jump that ranks fifth in school history.
Rose-Hulman returns to action next Friday night with the second meet of the Friday Night Spikes series as the Fightin' Engineers host Belhaven, Brescia, DePauw, Saint Mary of the Woods, St. Norbert, and Wabash.
