Men's Soccer Falls to Manchester; 36-Match HCAC Unbeaten Streak Snapped

NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer team fell to Manchester on Wednesday night for their first loss of the HCAC season. The Fightin' Engineers fall to 8-4-1 on the season and 4-1 in the HCAC. The loss snaps a 36 match unbeaten streak in HCAC regular season games dating back to October 16, 2019.

The Fightin' Engineers outshot the Spartans 10-4 in the game, and they held Manchester to just one shot on goal in the loss.

However, Manchester was able to score on a corner kick in the 52nd minute for their only shot on goal of the game.

Rose-Hulman had five shots on goal, but the Manchester keeper came up big with all five saves.

Caleb Urban led the team with 6 shots and 4 shots on goal in the loss.

The Fightin' Engineers will look to bounce back on Saturday afternoon as they travel to Transylvania for a 3:30 PM kickoff.
