LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer team brought home a scoreless draw after a tight battle with Transylvania. The Fightin' Engineers move to 8-4-2 on the season and 4-1-1 in the HCAC.
Rose-Hulman outshot the Pioneers 9-7 in the game with 3 shots on goal to just 2 for Transylvania.
Caleb Urban led the Fightin' Engineers with 3 shots, and
Julius Salinas was the only other Rose-Hulman with multiple shots with 2.
John Biederstedt made three saves in goal in the clean sheet.
With the Fightin' Engineers going 0-1-1 in their last two games, it is the first time since the 2013 season that the Fightin' Engineers have gone winless in back to back conference games.
The Fightin' Engineers return to action on Wednesday night as they travel to Franklin for a 7 PM kickoff.
