TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Rose-Hulman women's soccer team hosted Bluffton University on Saturday for Senior Day. The Fightin' Engineers picked up the win over the Beavers with a final score of 3-1. This advances the team to 7-3-4 overall and 6-2 in the HCAC.
Before the match, Rose-Hulman took the time to honor their seniors.

Caroline House, and
Kyra Hicks were all recognized by their family and teammates for their dedication to the women's soccer program.
The Fightin' Engineers got off to a strong start with a goal by Hicks on an assist by
Riley Heasley in the 29th minute to take the lead. Rose-Hulman snuck in one more goal by Orgera as time expired in the first half to stand ahead 2-0.
Rose-Hulman extended their lead once more in the second half with a goal by
Alex Adams on an assist by Martin. Bluffton's only score came off a penalty kick in the 85th minute to avoid the shutout.
The Fightin' Engineers will return to action traveling to face Hanover College on Wednesday, 10/25 at 3:30 PM in the final game of the 2023 regular season.
Rose-Hulman is locked into either the #3 or #4 in the HCAC Tournament. With a better result than Transylvania on Wednesday, the Fightin' Engineers will earn the #3 seed. With the same or a worse result, Rose-Hulman will earn the #4 seed. Either way, Rose-Hulman will host their opening round HCAC Tournament game on Saturday, October 28 at 1 PM.
