Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Men's Soccer Falls to Hanover 1-0 to Take Three-Seed in HCAC Tournament

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Rose-Hulman Fighitn' Engineers men's soccer team hosted Hanover College with a chance to claim the two-seed or higher with a win on Wednesday night. The team fell to the Panthers with a final score of 0-1 to fall to the three-seed in the HCAC Tournament. This drops the team to 10-5-2 overall and 6-2-1 in the HCAC. 

Both team's remained scoreless after the first half in a competitive match. Neither team gave their opponent the advantage on the offensive end with Hanover leading the match in shots 8-7 at the half.

The Panthers were able to connect with the net on a free kick right outside the box scored by Patricio Campos in the 86th minute. 

John Biederstedt played an exceptional game finishing the match with seven saves. Caleb Urban led the team with two shots and one shot on goal. 

The Engineers will look ahead to compete as the three-seed in the HCAC Tournament. They will host the opening round match on Saturday, 10/28 against Bluffton at 7 PM.
