HANOVER, Ind.-- The Rose-Hulman men's basketball team traveled to face Hanover College on Wednesday night in HCAC action. The team suffered a loss to the Panthers with a final score of 74-59. This drops the team to 3-5 overall and 1-2 in the HCAC.
Miles McGowen was one rebound away from a double-double leading the team with 19 points and nine rebounds.
Jack Jenniges also reached double figures in scoring with 11 points in the contest.
Kobe Stoudemire was a key facilitator leading the team with five assists.
A made three-pointer by
Bradley Harden at the end of the first half gave the Engineers the one point lead with the score at 35-34 heading into halftime.
Hanover turned up the intensity on defense in the second half putting together a 18-3 run to stand ahead 64-49 with 7:16 left in the game. The lead proved to be too much to overcome as the Panthers would claim the win.
Rose-Hulman will return to action on Sunday, 12/17 as they host St. John Fisher at 3 PM in the Rose-Hulman Round Robin.
