TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's basketball team fell to Hanover on Wednesday night 84-54.
Rose-Hulman battled early on, and they went on a 14-3 run early in the second half to cut the lead to 49-42. However, the Panthers would get things back on track and cruise to the win with a 27-point fourth quarter.
The Panthers finished with five players in double figures including Grace Bezold who led the team with 19.
The Fightin' Engineers were led by
Manuella Shomba with 16 points.
Sophia Reese and
Grace Roland also finished in double figures with 13 and 11.
Reese tied her career-highs with her 13 points, 2 steals and a block.
Roland led the team with 9 rebounds, and
Mira Randolph paced them with 3 assists.
Rose-Hulman will return to Hulbert Arena for their final game of a three-game home stand as they host the Elmhurst Blue Jays at 2 PM on Saturday, December 16.
