GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology relied on a school record from
Jailen Hobbs and five total event wins to place second at the DePauw University Men's Track and Field Invitational on Saturday.
Hobbs set a Rose-Hulman school record and a DePauw Fieldhouse record with his 60-meter time of 6.83 seconds. Hobbs, who also won the 200 with a time of 22.58 seconds, ran the No. 11 ranked 60-meter time in NCAA Division III this season in the performance.
Other individual winners included
Thomas Tullius in the 3000 (8:56.04) and
Tim Youndt in the 60-hurdles (8.61 seconds). The 4-x-400 relay team of
Ian Lemons,
Cole Patton,
Jonathan Rogers and
Jacob Eve also won in 3:30.44.
Rose-Hulman returns home for Friday Night Spikes Meet #5 next weekend at the Sports and Recreation Center.
