SAUGET, Ill. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology fell to Webster in the opener of their mid-week St. Louis trip.
The Fightin' Engineers opened the scoring in the second inning as
Mark Serdinak doubled home
Andy Krajecki with a two-out base knock.
After the Gorloks scored one in the bottom of the second, Rose-Hulman retook the lead in the third after a
Peter Rogers single and a Webster error.
It would be all Gorloks after that moment as they would score the final nine runs of the game for a 10-2 victory.
Rogers, Serdinak,
Blake Deckard,
Dalton Busboom, and
Tyler Otroszko each recorded one of the five hits for Rose-Hulman.
Rose-Hulman fell to 15-8 on the season, while Webster improved to 15-10. The Fightin' Engineers will finish their St. Louis trip tomorrow with a 2:30 PM CT game with Wash U tomorrow.
