ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology lost 11-3 to Wash U on Wednesday afternoon.
Mark Serdinak put the Fightin' Engineers on the board with a solo home run in the seventh inning.
In the eighth, Rose-Hulman tacked on two more runs thanks to a walk by
Kade Kline and singles by
Peter Rogers and
Andy Krajecki.
Rogers and Serdinak led the team with two hits, and Kline and Krajecki each added one.
Rose-Hulman fell to 15-9 on the season, while Wash U improved to 21-8. The Fightin' Engineers return to action by hosting Transylvania for a three-game series.
