TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology senior
Nicole Lang tied the Fightin' Engineer single-season home record of seven to highlight Friday's softball doubleheader loss to Webster University.
Lang provided the offense with a 2-run home run in the Fightin' Engineers game one 6-3 loss to Webster.Â
MaKenzie Morgan and
Katelyn Sarvis each had a single and one run scored, and
Ashley Pinkham struck out six and allowed two runs in five innings to lead the pitching effort.
In the nightcap, Katie Croxall of Webster finished 3-for-3 with five RBIs on a double and a home run to lead the Gorloks in the 11-2 victory.
Morgan led the team with two hits, including a double, and one run scored. Lang added a 2-run single. Â
Rose-Hulman hosts Mount St. Joseph in a home doubleheader on Saturday at 1 pm. Â
