GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology won seven events and
Jailen Hobbs took home Most Valuable Track Athlete honors at the Indiana Division III Men's Track and Field Championships on Saturday at DePauw University.
Hobbs earned the Track Events MVP award after winning the 100 (10.55) and 200 (21.55) and also anchoring the winning 4-x-100 relay (42.09).
Tim Youndt also won two individual events and led off the winning 4-x-100 relay. Youndt took home first place honors in the long jump (21' 9") and triple jump (44' 11 1/2").
Individual event champions also included
Raymond Bates with a career-best time in the 400 (49.98) and
Kyle Brownell in the high jump (6' 4 1/4").
The day featured a total of 18 top-five finishes for the Fightin' Engineers, who return home for the Rose-Hulman Twilight Meet on Friday April 21.
