FRANKLIN, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology won their 27th of the last 29 HCAC Championships with a first-place finish at Franklin.

The Fightin' Engineers brought home six first-place finishes, seven second-place, and three more third-place finishes.

Jailen Hobbs won three events including the 100m dash, 200m dash, and 4x100 relay.

Colin Welsh and Kyle Brownell each added individual event wins in the Pole Vault and High Jump.

Hobbs was also named the Men's Outstanding Sprint / Hurdles Athlete of the Year in the HCAC.

Larry Cole and the rest of the men's track and field coaching staff including Derick Lawrence, Christy Sherman, Liz Evans, and Emily Lawrence were named the HCAC Coaches of the Year.

The team will continue their season next Friday at Indiana University for the Billy Hayes Invitational.
