TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology football team fell on the road to Albion College 48-19 on Saturday.
Albion got out to a quick start on their home field as they took the opening drive right down the field for an 8-play, 76 yard touchdown drive in just under three minutes.

Miguel Robertson found
Jailen Hobbs for a 97 yard catch and run for the touchdown to tie the game at six. The 97-yard pass is the second-longest pass in school history and the third-longest play in school history.
Albion would go back on top with a punt return for a touchdown before the end of the first quarter, but the Robertson to Hobbs connection worked once again as they hit a 69-yard touchdown to tie the game at 13.
Rose-Hulman would take their first lead of the game after a long punt return by Hobbs set up the Fightin' Engineers in plus territory. Robertson would find
Ben Klein for his first career touchdown on a 29-yard strike.Â
Albion would retake the lead following the missed extra point, and the Brittons would carry the 20-19 lead into the locker room.
In the second half, it was all Albion as they outscored the Fightin' Engineers 28-0 and won the game 48-19.
Jay Smith has a career-day on the ground with highs of 16 carries and 94 yards.
Harrison Wight also added 11 carries for 40 yards.
Miguel Robertson finished 11-24 for 211 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Jailen Hobbs led the team with 3 catches for 162 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Marshall Koch and Peyton Gryniewicz led the team with 9 tackles, and they combined for 1.5 tackles for loss.
The Fightin' Engineers will return to their home field on Saturday, September 30 at 2 PM for their 2023 Homecoming game against the Anderson Ravens.
