TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer team took down Millikin 3-0 in dominating fashion on Wednesday night.

The Big Blue offense came in averaging over 3 goals per game this season, and Rose-Hulman held them to just 11 shots and 5 shots on goal in this one.

The Fightin' Engineers took an early lead in the 13th minute as Julius Salinas slotted one home off a cross from Matthew Schwartz.

Salinas then doubled the lead less than two minutes later as he sliced right through the Millikin defense and put his laces right through one into the left corner for his brace.

Rose-Hulman would tack on another before the half as Gabe Kruer tapped one home off a great build-up attack that ended with a ball across the box from Jimmy Hall and a touch from Dean Monroe.

The Fightin' Engineer would outshoot Millikin 17-11 and 12-5 in shots on goal.

Caleb Urban led the team with four shots.

John Biederstedt added five saves in the clean sheet including on a Penalty Kick in the final minute of the game.

Rose-Hulman returns to action on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 PM as they host the Ohio Northern Polar Bears in their final non-conference game.
