TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's track and field team brought home a second-place finish at the second edition of the Friday Night Spikes series. Rose-Hulman narrowly completed the comeback with a pair of wins in the Long Jump and Triple Jump, but they fell just four points short, 121-117.

The Fightin' Engineers brought home four total event wins and a quartet of second-place finishes in the meet.

Jocelyn Onstot brought home the best performance of the night for Rose-Hulman with the third-fastest time in school history in the 800m run. Her time of 2:21.59 was enough for first place, and it was just 0.28 seconds off of the 2nd-fastest time in program history.

Rofiat Adeyemi swept the jumping events with first-place finishes in the Long Jump and Triple Jump events. She recorded marks of 17' 4.75" in the Long Jump and 36' 2.75" in the Triple Jump.

Narindwa Semakula also got in on the winning with a season-best time of 9.18 in the 60m hurdles.

The Fightin' Engineers will return to action on Friday, January 26 as they host their third meet of the Friday Night Spikes series at the Rose-Hulman SRC Fieldhouse.
