ANDERSON, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman men's basketball team traveled to face Anderson University in HCAC action on Wednesday night. The Fightin' Engineers suffered a loss to the Ravens with a final score of 118-80. This drops the team to 8-12 overall and 6-7 in the HCAC.
Miles McGowen led the team with 14 points and six rebounds.
Rocco Richie also reached double figures in scoring with 10 points.
After being tied 25-25 with 9:43 remaining in the first half, the Fightin' Engineers were outscored 34-11 giving the Ravens a commanding lead at the halftime break 59-36. This lead proved to be too much to overcome as the Fightin' Engineers would suffer their third consecutive loss to conference opponents.
The Fightin' Engineers still stand in sixth place in the HCAC standings with a one-game lead over Mount St. Joseph University.
Rose-Hulman will look to bounce back on Saturday, 2/3 as they host Defiance College at 3 PM.
