DESTIN, Fla. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's golf team finished in 24th place at the Golfweek October Classic in Destin, Florida. The tournament includes 18 teams in the top-25 in NCAA Division III.

Austin Frick led the Fightin' Engineers with an 2-over score of 245. He shot a 1-under par round of 70 and a 1-over par round of 72 in the final two days of competition to finish in a tie for 38th in a loaded field of competitors.

Owen King shot the best round of the weekend for the Fightin' Engineers on Monday with a 2-under round of 69 after he birdies four holes and shot a 33 on the final nine holes. King's 18-hole score of 69 tied his career-low round as a Fightin' Engineer. He would finish the tournament at 10-over par in a tie for 83rd place.

The Fightin' Engineers concluded their fall season with this tournament. They will return to the course in the spring for the second half of their season.
