CONYERS, Ga. – Rose-Hulman recorded a 14th-place finish at the Emory Spring Invitational with a team score of 989 (+125).
Nate Benson recorded the Fightin' Engineers' highest score while competing as an independent golfer. He placed 38
th overall with a score of 237 (+21) while hitting five birdies.
Owen King tied for 58
th with a score of 245 (+28) with four birdies.
Aditya Reddy claimed 64
th-place, while recording a score of 248 (+31) with four birdies.
Ryan Beerheide tied for 69
th with a score of 252 (+35), and he led the Fightin' Engineers with eight birdies across the three rounds.
Ben Brander tied for 73
rd-place with a score of 255 (+38), and he hit the second most birdies on the team with six.
Eli Kelley took 75
th place with a score of 256 (+39) with two birdies. Competing as an independent golfer,
Connor Bishop recorded a 76
th place finish with a score of 261 (+44), while recording five birdies.
Rose-Hulman will look to win their third straight conference title at the HCAC Championships. The three-day tournament will be held in Richmond, Ky., on Friday, May 1, through Sunday, May 3.
