Ryan Beerheide Wins HCAC Individual Championship in School Record Setting Performance

RICHMOND, Ky. – Rose-Hulman concluded the season with a fifth-place finish at the HCAC Championships. The Fightin' Engineers recorded a team score of 931 (+67) across three rounds of golf.
 
Ryan Beerheide won the individual championship by four strokes with round scores of 74-69-65 for a total score of 208 (-8). Beerheide recorded a total of 14 birdies with eight coming on the final round. His score of 65 (-7) on round three is the greatest round score in Rose-Hulman history.
 
Beerheide is now the seventh player in school history to win the HCAC Championship, and he was one of just two players to finish under par at the 2026 HCAC Championships. For his efforts, he was named to the All-HCAC First Team for the third consecutive season.
 
Owen King tied for 15th place as he recorded a score of 231 (+15). He recorded a total of nine birdies with five coming on the first round. King also concludes his career as a three-time All-HCAC First Team selection, and he won the HCAC Individual Championship in both the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons.
 
Ben Brander tied for 26th place with a score of 243 (+27). He hit six birdies, recording two on all three rounds of the tournament.
 
Nate Benson took 32nd place as he posted a score of 249 (+33) with two birdies. Aditya Reddy added a 36th-place finish with a score of 257 (+41) with four birdies.
 
#17 Transylvania won the HCAC Championship in dominant fashion as they recorded a score of 867 (+3). Franklin finished in second with a score of 910 (+46) while Anderson came in third with a score of 922 (+58).
