TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman women's soccer team finished with a draw against HCAC opponent Transylvania on Saturday. The Fightin' Engineers now stand at 2-6-1 on the season and 1-0-1 in the HCAC. 

The Fightin' Engineers scored early on an impressive goal from Kyra Hicks on an assist from Ally Smith in the 13th minute. The team would hold the lead at the halftime break with a score of 1-0.

Transylvania was able to find the equalizer in the 74th minute of the second half to tie the match and force the draw. 

Rose-Hulman had the advantage in offensive opportunities out-shooting the Pioneers 15-9 in the match. 

Lily Doré represented the Fightin' Engineers in goal playing all 90 minutes recording two saves. 

Rose-Hulman will continue their conference schedule hosting Hanover College on Wednesday, October 9 at 7 PM for Greek Night.
