RESULTS

GAMBIER, Ohio-- Rose-Hulman swimmer Vineet Ranade represented the Fightin' Engineers at the Kenyon Fast Chance Invitational on Saturday and broke a school record in the process.

Ranade competed in a pair of events including the 200 Freestyle and 100 Breaststroke to try and improve his season best time in hopes of qualifying for the national meet.

The computer engineering major broke his own school record in the the 200 Free with a time of 1:37.63.

His time ranks as the eighth-fastest time in the nation potentially securing his spot at the national meet.  

The national meet will be hosted at Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina from Wednesday, March 20th to Saturday, March 23rd. The announcement about the NCAA Championship qualifiers will be made on February 28.
