AUBURNDALE, Fla. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology baseball team brought home an 8-7 win over Moravian on Wednesday in a 10-inning thriller.

Rose-Hulman opened the scoring in the second inning with a 3 spot thanks to an RBI double from Colton Brown and an RBI single from Kade Kline.

Moravian would come right back with two of their own in the third and one run in both the third and fourth innings to take 4-3.

The Fightin' Engineers would retake the lead in the fifth with a two-run single from Brown.

After the Greyhounds retook the lead in the 7th, Rose-Hulman again battled back with two more runs to take a 7-6 lead.

Moravian would tie the game at 7 with a home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to send it to extras, but Tyler Otroszko would call game in the tenth with a triple over the right fielder's head and scoring the game-winning run on a wild pitch. In the bottom of the inning, Otroszko would make a running catch in foul ground before barreling into the fence for the final out of the game.

The bottom of the order came up huge for the Fightin' Engineers as Brown, Otroszko, and Mark Serdinak would all add two hits a piece. Brown also contributed 3 RBIs, and Kade Kline added 2 RBIs.

On the mound, Schuyler Wilcox picked up his second win of the season, pitching the final three innings of the game with just one run allowed. Brady Strawmyer pitched four innings strong in the start with just two earned runs allowed and 6 strikeouts, and Brad Nardi recorded three strikeouts in 2.2 innings in relief.
