TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers hosted Hanover College on Wednesday night. The team suffered a loss to the Panthers with a final score of 75-51. This drops the team to 9-13 overall and 7-8 in the HCAC.
Miles McGowen led the team with 12 points and six rebounds on the night.
Bradley Harden was also able to reach double figures with 10 points.
The Fightin' Engineers struggled offensively as the Panthers held the team to 35.1 percent shooting for the entire game. Despite the poor shooting, the Fightin'Engineers only trailed by five points with the score at 31-26 at the halftime break.
Hanover was able to get it going in the second half, shooting 50 percent from beyond the arc, to build a substantial lead over the Fightin' Engineers. The Panthers would hold on to claim the win and hand Rose-Hulman their eighth conference loss of the season.
The Fightin' Engineers will look to bounce back as they travel to face Mount St. Joseph in an important road match up on Saturday, 2/10 at 3 PM.
