TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's track and field team competes in the DePauw Invitational in Greencastle, Indiana on Saturday at 11 AM. On Friday night, Jocelyn Onstot will represent the Fightin' Engineers as the lone Rose-Hulman competitor at the Marian Indoor Invitational at the Fall Creek Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds at 3 PM.
* Rose-Hulman comes into the week ranked #12 in the Great Lakes Region, and they currently lead the HCAC in the USTFCCCA conference rankings.
* The Fightin' Engineers have brought home four consecutive 2nd-place finishes in their first four meets of the season , falling to #1 WashU (twice), DePauw, and Ohio Northern.
* Rose-Hulman currently has ten athletes ranked #1 in the HCAC in nine events, five athletes ranked in the top-10 of the Great Lakes Region, and two ranked in the top-50 of the NCAA Division III.
* Rofiat Adeyemi ranks 1st in the HCAC, 3rd in the Great Lakes Region, and 21st in NCAA Division III in the Triple Jump with a mark of 37' 6.75".
* Adeyemi also ranked 1st in the HCAC and 9th in the Great Lakes Region in the Long Jump with a mark of 17' 4.75".
* Narindwa Semakula ranks 1st in the HCAC, 2nd in the Great Lakes Region, and 48th in NCAA Division III in the 60m Hurdles with a time of 9.18.
* Jocelyn Onstot also ranks 1st in the HCAC and 7th in the Great Lakes Region in the 5000m Run with a time of 18:11.04.
* Onstot ranks 1st in the HCAC and 9th in the Great Lakes Region in the 800m Run with a time of 2:19.98.
* Additionally, Onstot ranks 1st in the HCAC in the Mile Run with a time of 5:17.00.
* She is also ranked 1st in the HCAC in the 3000m Run with a time of 10:56.57.
* Rose Talbert ranks 1st in the HCAC in the 400m Dash with a time of 1:00.48.
* Talbert is also ranked 2nd in the HCAC in the 200m Dash with a time of 26.69
* The Fightin' Engineers' 4x400m Relay team of Jada Hunter-Hays, Onstot, Jenae Mona, and Talbert are ranked 1st in the HCAC with a time of 4:19.64.
* Rose-Hulman's 4x200m Relay team of Hunter-Hays, Alex Adams, Emma Johns, and Talbert also ranks 1st in the HCAC with a time of 1:49.69.
* Adams also ranks 2nd in the HCAC in the 60m Dash with a time of 8.22.
* Kyra Hicks is ranked 2nd in the HCAC in the Triple Jump with a mark of 35' 6".
* Hicks also ranked 2nd in the HCAC in the Long Jump with a mark of 15' 9.75".
* Adams also ranks 2nd in the HCAC in the 60m Dash with a time of 8.22.
* Rose-Hulman has won 5 HCAC indoor track and field championships entering the 2024 season, including titles in four of the last six seasons.
* The Fightin' Engineers were picked as the preseason favorites to bring home the HCAC Indoor Championship this season, narrowly edging out Hanover by a single point in the poll.
* Rose-Hulman has won a total of 7 women's track and field conference championships in program history.
* The Fightin' Engineers will return to action next week with their second double-meet weekend of the year. They will host their final Friday Night Spikes Tune-Up meet on Friday, February 16, and a select group of athletes will make the trip across Terre Haute the next day to compete in the Indiana State Open on February 17.

* DePauw comes in ranked #10 in the Great Lakes Region and #128 in NCAA Division III.
* Franklin comes in ranked #31 in the Great Lakes Region.
* Hanover comes in ranked #27 in the Great Lakes Region and #115 in NCAA Division III.
* IU-East comes in ranked #21 in the NAIA Great Lakes Region and #91 in NAIA.
* Manchester comes in ranked #20 in the Great Lakes Region and #63 in NCAA Division III.
