TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology baseball team brought home a 13-5 win over Greenville on Wednesday night.

The Fightin' Engineers got the scoring going in the first with a pair of runs on RBIs from Peter Rogers and Connor O'Connell.

The Panthers retook the lead with three in the second, but Michael Stenger tied the game and Colter Couillard-Rodak put the Fightin' Engineers back in front with an RBI double in the second.

After Greenville tied the game in the fourth, Rogers came up big once again with an RBI single to bring home Stenger and give Rose-Hulman the 5-4 lead.

The Panthers would battle back to tie it again in the sixth, but Jackson Summers would put the Fightin' Engineers in front for good in the sixth with a solo home run for his third hit of the ball game.

Rose-Hulman would tack on one in the seventh and six in the eighth to cruise to a 13-5 victory.

Summers led the team with three hits and three runs scored in the win. Couillard-Rodak added three runs scored, and both Couillard-Rodak and Rogers tallied 3 RBIs.

On the mound, Zacheus Carr, Tyler Orr, Schuyler Wilcox, and Jonathan Oliger added scoreless innings pitched in relief. Warren Goik gave up one run in his one inning, and Camden Judson picked up his first career win with one unearned run allowed in two innings.

With the win, the Fightin' Engineers improve to 8-5 overall and 4-1 on their home field. Rose-Hulman returns to action on Saturday as they open HCAC play at Art Nehf Field against the Mount St. Joseph Lions at 1 PM and 4 PM.
