TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- We are now just under three months away from the opening meet of the 2024 Rose-Hulman men's and women's cross country season which means it is time to break down the schedule. The full men's schedule can be seen

The Fightin' Engineers open the season on Saturday, September 7 as they travel to Shelbyville, Indiana for the Pre-Regional meet at Franklin College. This will be the first of three times that Rose-Hulman will run at the Blue River Cross Country Course this season.
Rose-Hulman will compete two weeks later in their first "home" meet of the season in the first of three times that the Fightin' Engineers will run at LaVern Gibson Cross Country Course, Rose-Hulman's home course. They will once again compete in Indiana State's John McNichols Invitational which included schools such as Anderson, Bellarmine, Belmont, Dayton, Evansville, Indiana, Indiana State, Kansas State, Maine, Milwaukee, Purdue, Southeastern Missouri State, SIU-Edwardsville, Southern Indiana, Truman, UT-Martin, and Vincennes in the 2023 field. The Division III schools competing in this meet can be seen

The Fightin' Engineers run on their home course for their second consecutive meet on October 4, the Friday of Homecoming weekend, as they host the NCAA Division III Pre-Nationals. This year's field has 43 confirmed men's teams and 44 confirmed women's teams as of the last update. The full field of teams can be seen

The final regular season meet of the season for the Fightin' Engineers will be the Augustana Interregional Invitational on October 19 in Rock Island, Illinois.
The postseason will include back to back races at the Blue River Cross Country Course in Shelbyville, Indiana with the HCAC Championships on November 2 and the NCAA DIII Great Lakes Regional on November 16.
Rose-Hulman will also play host to the 2023 NCAA Division III National Championship this fall. It will be the first time that the Fightin' Engineers have hosted the DIII National Championship since 2012 when Johns Hopkins won their first of five National titles in the last six years. It will also be the 15th overall NCAA Championship hosted at LaVern Gibson after the course hosted 14 championships across DI and DIII in an 18-year span from 2002-2019.
We hope to see you all at the LaVern Gibson Cross Country Course at 9 PM on September 21 as the Fightin' Engineers continue their 2024 campaign with their first of three meets in Terre Haute.
