BLUFFTON, Ohio -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer team grabbed victory from the jaws of defeat on Saturday afternoon with a 3-2 victory to open conference play. The Fightin' Engineers trailed for 76 minutes of the game but scored two goals in the final two minutes of the game to win.
The win for the Fightin' Engineers is also the 200th career win for head coach
Sean Helliwell making him just the seventh coach in Rose-Hulman history in any sport to reach that total.
The Beavers opened the scoring in the 9th minute of action as a ball over the top led to a one on one with the keeper for the first goal.

However, Bluffton came right back just four minutes later and retook the lead on a great free kick strike from just outside the 18-yard box.
In the 89th minute, Rose-Hulman scored the equalizer on a header by
Cameron Hannah on a beautiful cross in by
Evan Lipsky.
Not even 60 seconds later, the Fightin' Engineers completed their comeback as
Oliver Fila ripped another cross into the 18 to find the head of Hannah who slotted it home past the keeper to complete his brace and the comeback victory.
The goal with 55 seconds to go in the latest game-winning goal in Rose-Hulman history. The two goals in the final two minutes also mark the first time that the Fightin' Engineers have found the back of the net in the final 5 minutes of the game since 2018.
With the win, the Fightin' Engineer improve to 2-4-2 on the season and 1-0 in the HCAC. They will return to their home field on Tuesday, October 1 as they host the St. Mary of the Woods Pomeroys in their final non-conference match of the season.
