Four-Under Round from Frick Leads Men's Golf to 8th Place at UW-Stout

LAKE GENEVA, Wis. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's golf team sits in 3rd place following the opening day of the UW-Stout Fall Invitational.

Austin Frick led the Fightin' Engineers with a 3rd place finish in the tournament after firing off a 4-under round of 67 in the second round, which missed tying the school record by just one stroke. He would finish with a 1-under par score of 141 which ties his career-high and ranks 4th best in program history.

Owen King and Luke Poole each added top-50 overall finishes at 7-over and 10-over for the tournament.

The Fightin' Engineers will return to action at the Golfweek October Classic in Destin, Florida from Sunday, October 13 to Tuesday, October 15.
