CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman men's swimming and diving team traveled to compete in the Indiana DIII Championships hosted by Wabash College on Saturday. The team earned a third-place finish in the meet with a team score of 597.5.
The team earned three event wins and nine top-three finishes in the meet.
Parker Siddons led the team in the diving competition, earning two first-place finishes in 1-meter diving (198.85) and 3-meter diving (190.40).
Trevor Wiley also earned an event win in the 200-meter butterfly with a time of 1:56.82. Wiley's other top finish was in the 200 IM, claiming second place with a time of 1:59.19.
Carter Kirtz was another standout with second-place finishes in the 100-meter breaststroke (1:00.36) and the 200-meter breaststroke (2:11.92).
The Rose-Hulman men's swimming and diving team will return to action on the road against Wabash College in a dual meet on Friday, October 24, at 7 PM.
