TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman men's swimming and diving team hosted DePauw on Thursday night for their home opener. The team suffered a loss to the Tigers with a final score of 175.5 to 81.5.
The Fightin' Engineers claimed two event wins and 16 top-three finishes in the meet.
Parker Siddons led the team, winning both diving competitions, totaling scores of 190.65 in 1-meter and 184.55 in 3-meter.
Carter Kirtz was another standout with three second-place finishes in the 50 breaststroke, 100 breaststroke, and as a member of the 200 medley relay.
Ethan Moen also made an impact with two second-place finishes in the 50 backstroke and the 100 backstroke.
Rose-Hulman will hit the road to compete in the Dan Ross Indiana Intercollegiates, hosted by Purdue University on Saturday, October 11, at 12 PM.
