TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers earned a conference win over Anderson on Wednesday night with set scores of 25-19, 25-15, 20-25, and 25-17. This advances the team to 15-9 overall and 3-3 in the HCAC. 
The Fightin' Engineers totaled four players in double figures in kills, led by 
Emma Blanton, who recorded a double-double with 17 kills and 19 digs. Other players that reached double figures included 
Keira Ohse with 14, 
Amaya Harrell with 13, and 
Greta Carlson with 12. 
Julia Irmen had an impressive performance, recording her second-highest assist total in a match this season with 54. 
Lily Ebright was the standout on defense with a team-high 29 digs. 
After a slow start in the first set, Rose-Hulman put together a 9-2 run to make the score 13-8. Anderson battled back to keep the match close. The Fightin' Engineers finished the set strong on a 7-3 run, capped off by a kill from Blanton to beat the Ravens 25-19 and take the early lead. 
The Fightin' Engineers had a dominant performance in the second set, holding the lead for the entire time. The team won the set 25-15 on a kill by Ohse to take the 2-0 advantage over the Ravens. 
After falling in the third set, Rose-Hulman took care of business in the fourth set. The team picked up the win 25-17 on another kill by Ohse to defeat Anderson and claim their third conference win of the season. 
The win moves Rose-Hulman to the fourth spot in the HCAC standings. 
The Fightin' Engineers will continue conference play, traveling to take on Manchester on Saturday, November 1, at 6 PM.
