NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman women's volleyball team suffered a road loss to Manchester on Saturday night with a final score of 3-1. This drops the team to 15-10 overall and 3-4 in the HCAC. 
Emma Blanton led the team with 14 kills in the match. She was followed by 
Keira Ohse and 
Greta Carlson with eight kills each. 
Julia Irmen was the lead setter with 32 assists in the match. 
Shae Clements led the defense with 14 digs.
The Fightin' Engineers fell behind after dropping the first two sets to the Spartans 25-19 and 25-21. 
The team was able to rally back in a competitive third set. After being down 21-18, Rose-Hulman went on a 6-0 run to take a 24-21 lead.
After Manchester answered back to tie the match at 24-24, Rose-Hulman scored back-to-back points to finish the set on a kill by Carlson and a service ace by Irmen. 
The Spartans finished the match strong, defeating Rose-Hulman 25-15 in the fourth set to close out the match. 
Rose-Hulman will look to bounce back in HCAC play, traveling to face Earlham on Wednesday, November 5, at 7 PM.
