Volleyball Travels to Manchester for HCAC Matchup Saturday

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman volleyball team will travel to take on the Manchester Spartans on Saturday, November 1, at 6 PM in HCAC action. 

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman stands at 15-9 overall this year and 3-3 in the HCAC.
* The team comes off a conference win over Anderson with a final score of 3-1.
* The Fightin' Engineers currently rank fourth in the HCAC standings. The top eight teams will qualify for the HCAC Tournament. 
Greta Carlson leads the team with 286 kills this season, averaging 3.36 kills per set. 
Keira Ohse is another standout for the Fightin' Engineers with 212 kills and a .333 hitting percentage. 
Julia Irmen leads the team and the conference with 10.22 assists per set, which ranks 14th in all of NCAA DIII. 
Lily Ebright is the star defensively with 517 digs and 6.01 digs per set. Her digs per set average leads the conference and ranks sixth in NCAA DIII. 
* The Fightin' Engineers have been picked to finish sixth in the 2025 HCAC Preseason Poll, receiving 40 points. 
* The team returns three HCAC All-Conference players, including Lily EbrightAmaya Harrell, and Keira Ohse.
* Ebright is the team's top returner after earning Defensive Player of the Year for the third consecutive season last year. 
* The team is led by Rachel Delsi, entering her eighth year at the helm of the program. 
* The win over Berea earlier this season marked the 100th career win for Head Coach Rachel Delsi in her eighth season with the Fightin' Engineers. 
* After traveling to face Manchester, Rose-Hulman will travel to take on Earlham on Wednesday, November 5, at 7 PM. 

MANCHESTER NOTES:
* Manchester stands at 11-13 overall this season. 
* The team comes off a win over Bluffton University with a score of 3-0. 
* Manchester stands in seventh place in the HCAC standings. 
* Avery Ball leads the team with 295 kills this season, averaging 3.31 kills per set. 
* Adelyn Figley is another standout with 191 kills and 2.39 kills per set. 
* Morgan Howard is the Spartans' top setter with 554 assists on the season, averaging 6.22 assists per set. 
* Tiffany Watterson leads the defense with 268 digs, averaging 3.31 digs per set. 
* The Spartans were selected to finish third in the HCAC Preseason Poll, receiving 60 points. 
* The team is led by Head Coach Ivan Matos in his eighth season with the Spartans. 
* After hosting Rose-Hulman, Manchester will travel to face Franklin College on Wednesday, November 5, at 7 PM. 

MANCHESTER SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series with a record of 16-10 against Manchester. 
* The Fightin' Engineers defeated the Spartans last season with a final score of 3-1.
