TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Fightin' Engineers hauled in four all-conference awards, with at least one player being named to the All-HCAC 1
st, 2
nd, and 3
rd Teams.
Senior
Jacob Pohl was named to the All-HCAC 1
st Team for the third time in his career (2022 and 2024). Pohl led all field players with 1,611 minutes while starting every game of the year. He played a key role in leading Rose-Hulman's defense, which led the HCAC with just 15 goals allowed. Pohl added goals in back-to-back games against Franklin and Mt. St. Joseph, and he assisted on their game-winning goal against Manchester to clinch the #3-seed in the HCAC Tournament.
Junior
Oliver Fila garnered All-HCAC 2
nd Team honors for the first time in his career. Fila started in all 19 matches, where he appeared in 1,451 minutes of action. Fila recorded ten points on the season, where he scored three goals and dished out four assists. Fila scored in back-to-back games against Bluffton and Manchester to close out the regular season, where his game-winning goal against Manchester secured the #3-seed.
Sophomore
Ryan Shapiro achieved All-HCAC honors for the second consecutive season, as he was named to the All-HCAC 2
nd Team. Shapiro led Rose-Hulman with 11 total points, where he scored four goals while recording three assists. Shapiro scored the game-winning goal against Wabash and added a goal in their following match against Principia. Shapiro added both a goal and an assist against Millikin and scored his team-high fourth goal of the season against Bluffton on Senior Day.
Senior
Aidan Kriek secured all-conference honors for the first time as he was named to the All-HCAC 3
rd Team. Kriek finished second amongst field players with 1,577 minutes, while also playing a huge role in Rose-Hulman's defense, allowing just 15 goals. Kriek scored the opening goal in Rose-Hulman's win over St. Mary-of-the-Woods, and he added an assist in the HCAC Semifinals against Hanover.
The Fightin' Engineers concluded the 2025 season with a 10-5-4 record while posting a 4-2-3 HCAC record. The team ended the regular season with a pair of victories and took down Anderson by a score of 1-0 in the opening round of the HCAC Tournament.
