Men's Swimming Thrashes Tigers in Friday Night Dual Meet

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman men's swimming and diving team dominated in their dual meet victory against Wittenberg with a final score of 149-60. The team now stands at 2-2 overall in dual meets on the season. 

The Fightin' Engineers earned 15 event wins and 39 top-three finishes in the win over the Tigers. 

Levi Galaviz had an exceptional performance with four event wins on the evening. He placed first in both the 50 freestyle (22.64) and the 100 freestyle (49.06). He also claimed event wins as a member of the 200 medley relay (1:41.62) and the 200 freestyle relay teams (1:34.15).

Parker Siddons was the standout in the diving competition, winning both the 1-meter (225.15) and 3-meter (216.14) contests. 

Trevor Wiley was another key performer in the pool with two event wins in the 200 butterfly (1:58.30) and the 400 IM (4:13.00). Sam Stevenot also earned two event wins in the 200 freestyle (1:56.44) and 500 freestyle (5:10.41). Margad Pagva was the third Fightin' Engineers with two event wins, placing first in the 100 backstroke (58.63) and the 200 backstroke (2:08.94).

Rose-Hulman will look ahead to compete in the Wooster Invitational from Thursday, December 4, to Saturday, December 6.
