Rose-Hulman Travels to Earlham Wednesday for HCAC Showdown

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman volleyball team will continue their conference schedule, traveling to take on Earlham on Wednesday, November 5, at 7 PM.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman stands at 15-10 overall this year and 3-4 in the HCAC.
* The team comes off a loss to Manchester over the weekend with a final score of 3-1.
* The Fightin' Engineers currently rank sixth in the HCAC standings. The top eight teams will qualify for the HCAC Tournament. 
* Greta Carlson leads the team with 294 kills this season, averaging 3.30 kills per set. 
* Emma Blanton is another standout with 226 kills on the year, averaging 3.37 kills per set.
* Julia Irmen leads the team and ranks second in the conference with 10.12 assists per set, which ranks 18th in all of NCAA DIII. 
* Lily Ebright is the star defensively with 530 digs and 5.89 digs per set. Her digs per set average leads the conference and ranks ninth in NCAA DIII. 
* The Fightin' Engineers have been picked to finish sixth in the 2025 HCAC Preseason Poll, receiving 40 points. 
* The team returns three HCAC All-Conference players, including Lily Ebright, Amaya Harrell, and Keira Ohse.
* Ebright is the team's top returner after earning Defensive Player of the Year for the third consecutive season last year. 
* The team is led by Rachel Delsi, entering her eighth year at the helm of the program. 
* The win over Berea earlier this season marked the 100th career win for Head Coach Rachel Delsi in her eighth season with the Fightin' Engineers. 
* After traveling to face Earlham, Rose-Hulman will wrap up their regular season at home against Bluffton on Saturday, November 8, at 1 PM for Senior Day. 

EARLHAM NOTES:
* Earlham stands at 18-8 overall and 6-1 in the HCAC this season.
* The team comes off a loss to Hanover College with a final score of 3-1. 
* Earlham currently ranks second in the HCAC in the conference standings. 
* Caylee Brandes leads the team with 338 kills, averaging 3.22 kills per set. 
* Aniyah Harrington is another impressive hitter with 310 kills, averaging 3.04 kills per set.
* Ava Walters is the top setter for the Quakers with 634 assists on the year and an average of 6.16 assists per set. 
* Madison Bizjak is the team's top defender with 605 digs and an average of 5.76 digs per set on the season.
* Earlham was selected to finish fifth in the HCAC Preseason Poll, receiving 48 points. 
* Earlham is led by Head Coach Lauren Horton in her 11th season with the Quakers. 
* After hosting Rose-Hulman, Earlham will wrap up their regular season, hosting MSJ on Saturday, November 8, at 2 PM.

EARLHAM SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series against Earlham with a record of 21-12 against the Quakers. 
* The Fightin' Engineers have lost their last two matches against Earlham in 2023 and 2024, with scores of 0-3 and 2-3. 
* The last time Rose-Hulman defeated Earlham was during the 2022 season with a score of 3-1. 
* The team has an away record of 9-7 all-time when traveling to face Earlham.
