Volleyball Hosts Bluffton for Senior Day Saturday

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman volleyball team returns home for their regular season finale against Bluffton on Saturday, November 8, at 1 PM for Senior Day. 

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman stands at 15-11 overall this year and 3-5 in the HCAC.
* The team comes off a loss to Earlham after five sets with a score of 3-2.
* The Fightin' Engineers currently rank seventh in the HCAC standings. The top eight teams will qualify for the HCAC Tournament. 
Greta Carlson leads the team with 311 kills this season, averaging 3.31 kills per set. 
Emma Blanton is another standout with 241 kills on the year, averaging 3.35 kills per set.
Julia Irmen leads the team and ranks second in the conference with 10.13 assists per set, which ranks 17th in all of NCAA DIII. 
Lily Ebright is the star defensively with 565 digs and 5.95 digs per set. Her digs per set average leads the conference and ranks eighth in NCAA DIII. 
* The Fightin' Engineers have been picked to finish sixth in the 2025 HCAC Preseason Poll, receiving 40 points. 
* The team returns three HCAC All-Conference players, including Lily EbrightAmaya Harrell, and Keira Ohse.
* Ebright is the team's top returner after earning Defensive Player of the Year for the third consecutive season last year. 
* The team is led by Rachel Delsi, entering her eighth year at the helm of the program. 
* The win over Berea earlier this season marked the 100th career win for Head Coach Rachel Delsi in her eighth season with the Fightin' Engineers. 
* After hosting Bluffton, Rose-Hulman will look ahead to see where they will travel for the first round of the HCAC Tournament.
* The HCAC Quarterfinals will be on Wednesday, November 12.

BLUFFTON NOTES:
* Bluffton stands at 13-18 overall and 2-6 in the HCAC. 
* The Beavers come off a win over Anderson with a score of 3-2. 
* Bluffton currently stands in eighth place in the conference standings. 
* Jenna Woods leads the team with 432 kills this season.
* Kasey Sager is another outstanding hitter with 236 kills.
* Gabby Williams is the top setter for the Beavers with 702 assists on the year. 
* Emma Organ is the top defender for Bluffton with 581 digs, averaging 5.05 digs per set. 
* The Beavers were picked to finish ninth in the HCAC Preseason Poll, receiving 19 points. 
* The team is led by Head Coach Steve Yarnell in his 18th season with the Beavers.
* After traveling to face Rose-Hulman, Bluffton will look to see if they secured the eighth spot in the HCAC Tournament. 

BLUFFTON SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman trails in the all-time series with Bluffton with a record of 7-17 against the Beavers.
* The Fightin' Engineers have won four matches in a row against Bluffton, dating back to the 2021 season.
* The team defeated the Beavers last season with a final score of 3-0.
* The last time Bluffton defeated Rose-Hulman was during the 2020 season with a final score of 3-0.
* Rose-Hulman has an all-time home record of 4-6 when hosting the Beavers.
