TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman men's and women's indoor track & field teams traveled select individuals to compete in the John Gartland Invitational hosted by Indiana State on Friday. 

Brady Socha led the Fightin' Engineers with a first-place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:59.88. He was followed by his teammates Alejandro Clark with a second-place finish (1:59.90) and Connor Bodie with a third-place finish (2:00.60). 

Jocelyn Onstot represented the women's track & field team with a second-place finish in the mile run with a time of 5:08.11. 

The men's and women's track & field teams will return to action in the Hoosier Horsepower Classic and the Friday Night Spikes Larry Cole Opener on Friday, January 16.
