CARMEL, Ind. -- The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference has announced the Christopher M. Ragsdale Sportsmanship Team for the fall of 2025. Rose-Hulman student-athletes Ellie Harshany from the volleyball team and Oliver Fila from the men's soccer team represented Rose-Hulman in the awards announcement.
Harshany was a key leader on the women's volleyball team this season. She appeared in every match for the Fightin' Engineers, totaling 102 sets played with four starts and 22 service aces on the year.
Fila was a standout for the men's soccer team, earning Second Team All-HCAC and Third Team All-Region. He started in every game this season, totaling 10 points with three goals and a team-high four assists.
The HCAC All-Sportsmanship Award is named in honor of former HCAC Commissioner Christopher M. Ragsdale, who served as the Commissioner from 2009 to 2018. Members of the All-HCAC Sportsmanship Team for each championship season include two athletes from each member institution, each of whom are selected by their schools as individuals who represent values that are associated with positive sportsmanship on and off the field/court.
