TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Fightin' Engineers have tied a school record, as four athletes were named to the All-Region VII Team.
Camille Clark received All-Region 1
st Team honors,
Ally Smith was named to the All-Region 2
nd Team,
Lauren Marquardt received All-Region 3
rd Team honors, and
Sydnee Schuler was selected to the All-Region 4
th Team.
Senior
Camille Clark concludes her decorated career as a three-time All-Region recipient, as she was named to the All-Region 1
st Team in 2025, and 4
th Team in 2024 and 2022. Clark was named the 2025 HCAC Defensive Player of the Year, the 2025 HCAC Tournament MVP, and is a three-time All-HCAC selection. Clark appeared in 1,395 minutes on the season, where she played all 90 minutes in her final 14 games. She led Rose-Hulman's defensive line, which allowed the fewest goals in the HCAC at 13, while also leading the conference with ten shutouts. On the offensive end, Clark recorded an assist against Anderson, and she added goals in the following two games against Bluffton and Manchester. She scored her third and final goal of the season in the HCAC Championship Game, where Rose-Hulman defeated Hanover 1-0 to advance to the NCAA Tournament.
Junior
Ally Smith was awarded All-Region 2
nd Team honors for the first time in her career, and she was also named to the All-HCAC 1
st Team. Smith started in every game of the season, where she led all field players with 1,679 minutes. She appeared in all 90 minutes in 13 games, while playing every second in all three of Rose-Hulman's playoff games. Smith played a key role in the Fightin' Engineers' defense, leading the HCAC with ten shutouts and just 13 goals allowed. She dished out a total of three assists, highlighted by a two-assist performance in the season opener against St. Mary-of-the-Woods.
Senior
Lauren Marquardt wraps up her historic career as a two-time All-Region selection, as she received All-Region 3
rd Team honors in 2025 and All-Region 4
th Team honors in 2024. Marquardt was named to the 2025 HCAC All-Tournament Team, and she hauled in All-HCAC 1
st Team selections in 2025, 2024, and 2022, and an All-HCAC 2
nd Team selection in 2023. She finished seventh in the HCAC with 18 total points, where she scored six goals and accumulated six assists. Marquardt scored four goals in a three-game span at the start of the conference season, highlighted by a two-goal performance against Franklin. She recorded both a goal and an assist in Rose-Hulman's 3-1 victory over Transylvania in the HCAC Semifinals. She followed up that match by assisting on the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Hanover to win the HCAC Tournament Championship and advance to the NCAA Tournament. Marquardt concludes her career with 18 goals and 17 assists, where her 53 total points rank 11
th in school history.
Sophomore
Sydnee Schuler hauled in All-Region 4
th Team honors for the first time in her career, while she was also selected to the All-HCAC 2
nd Team and HCAC All-Tournament Team. Schuler recorded a team-high 19 points on the season, which ranked fourth overall in the HCAC. She scored six goals and added a team-high seven assists, which ranked second in the conference. Schuler picked up assists in three straight games to start the HCAC season, and she closed out the HCAC regular season by scoring in three straight games. She put together her best game of the season in RHIT's 3-1 victory over Transylvania in the HCAC Semifinals, where Schuler scored two goals and added one assist to send Rose-Hulman to the Championship game.
The Fightin' Engineers recorded an overall mark of 11-7-2, where they achieved their most wins in a season since 2021. The team went 7-1-1 in the HCAC to clinch the #2-seed in the conference tournament, and they would go on the win the HCAC Title for the fourth time in program history.
