Men's Track & Field Claims HCAC Indoor Title for Third Straight Season

RESULTS 

ANDERSON, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman men's track & field team earned a share of the HCAC Indoor Track & Field title after finishing the meet tied with Manchester with team scores of 153.

The first-place team finish gives the Fightin' Engineers their third consecutive HCAC Indoor Track & Field Championship and their 14th HCAC Indoor title in the last 15 years. 

The Rose-Hulman coaching staff was named the HCAC Coaching Staff of the Year for the team's accomplishments led by Head Coach Shane Mills. 

Rose-Hulman finished the meet with 11 top-three finishes and three event wins. 

The distance medley team of Morgan Stratton, Ian Lemons, Sawyer Richter, and Cole Breuer earned an event win with a time of 10:44.98.

Kolton Nanko was a event champion in the pole vault after clearing a height of 15' 3".

James Kaunas was the team's final event winner, picking up a win in the triple jump with a mark of 45' 1".

The men's track & field team will begin their outdoor season by hosting the Early Bird Invitational on Saturday, March 22, at 11 AM.
