TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman men's golf team hosted the Great Lakes Invitational on Saturday. The team earned a first-place finish in the tournament with a team score of 586 (+18).
The Fightin' Engineers were led by
Austin Frick who finished first in the tournament individually after shooting rounds of 69 (-2) and 69 (-2) for a total score of 138 (-4).
Ryan Beerheide also earned a top-five finish, placing fifth with round scores of 76 (+5) and 70 (-1) for a total score of 146 (+4).
Nate Benson rounded out the top three finishers for Rose-Hulman with a sixth-place finish after rounds of 77 (+6) and 72 (-1) earned him a total score of 149 (+7).
Rose-Hulman will return to competition, traveling to compete in the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational on Friday, April 4, and Saturday, April 5.
